Finance Manager

Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a leading Services business, based in Portsmouth, in their search for a Group Financial Reporting Manager on an initial 8 month contract.

Salary - £70-75,000 p/a
Hybrid working - 1-2 days a week in the office

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Lead in the production of the Group’s Monthly Performance Review (MPR) on time in full
  • Act as a ‘key point of contact’ for the Group’s businesses in the production and distribution of the Group MPR and each business’ MPR 
  • Key point of contact for the global finance team for consolidations
  • Oversight of the Group Systems Accountant
  • Support the Head of Group Finance to manage the innovation process by working with the businesses, to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and timeliness of production of the MPR.
  • Support the Head of Group Finance in preparing the Group consolidation and associated documentary requirements for the Year End external audit of the Group’s financial statements, including liaison and management of external auditors.

Key Skills include:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Track record of working with ‘virtual’ international teams.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
