Financial Accountant

Job Description

Venture Recruitment Partners are pleased to be supporting a Global business, based in Southampton, in their search for a Temporary Senior Financial Accountant on an initial 2-month basis.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Accountable for planning, managing and reviewing accounting processes to ensure timely, complete and accurate financial information, including operation of effective journal and balance sheet processes
- Accountable for the overall quarterly reporting and all associated deliverables
- Ensure financial control is maintained across the control universe, to ensure that controls are appropriately designed to address the risks in place, in an efficient fashion
- Answer technical accounting queries and lead on accounting policy matters.

Key Experience and Skills include:

- Qualified Accountant or QBE
- Background in Financial Control - SOX, GAAP, IFRS
- Audit experience
- Knowledge of large ERP systems - SAP, Oracle, Dynamics
