Financial Controller

Venture Recruitment Partners are seeking a driven Financial Controller to join one of the New Forest's fastest-growing businesses on an interim basis.
The business are offering a flexible hybrid working model, as well as a day rate of £250 - £350 depending on experience.

This contract will run for a minimum of 3 months. 

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee all aspects of the financial function, including monthly accounts, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Lead and manage a direct report.
  • Partner with the leadership team to provide strategic financial insights and support ambitious growth plans.
  • Implement and improve financial systems and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Play a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including scenario modelling.

About You:

  • A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a PE-backed SME environment.
  • Proven ability to meet strict reporting deadlines and deliver high-quality financial information.
  • Strong technical skills
  • Experience in implementing and improving financial systems and processes.
  • A collaborative and results-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
