Financial Controller

Job Description

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well known FMCG business in their search for a Head of Financial Controls on an interim basis. 

They are looking for someone that is experienced managing a team and is looking to make the move up to Financial Controller in the next 18-24 months. 

This is a BAU role designed to bring the team up to speed, with specific emphasis on implementing controls and the reconciliations process. 

Please note, you will be required to travel to Jersey 2-3 days a week, with travel and accommodation paid for. 

Responsibilities of the Head of Financial Controls-
    
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

- Balance Sheet & Financial Controls 

- Cash & Working Capital Management 

- Process Improvement & Business Support 

- Leadership & Team Development 


Skills of the Head of Financial Controls- 

- Qualified Accountant 

- Experience with process improvement 

- Strong team manager 

- Strong excel



The role is initially looking to run for 6 months, with a strong chance of extension or going permanent. 

It is paying £275p/d - £400p/d Umbrella plus expenses.
