This Basingstoke business has grown rapidly, and now requires a Management Accountant to business partner with key senior stakeholders and support the delivery of their management information and commercial insights.

Management Accountant – The Role
- Delivering timely, accurate and comprehensive internal financial management accounts to senior management teams, offering insight into business performance and driving decision making
- Delivering robust analysis and commentary explaining monthly performance variances against Budgets and Forecasts, highlighting Risks and Opportunities, and supporting the business with reforecasting
- Linking together operational and financial information, ensuring that the prime book of accounts is reflective of all the activities of the business, continuously reviewing systems and processes to ensure they are efficient and effective
- Delivering robust analysis of actuals (particularly for Utilities Costs) to ensure accurate accounting, understanding and analysis with recommendations for Senior Management
- Taking responsibility for the budget and forecasting process, supporting budget holders and having confidence in knowing when to encourage, when to instruct, and when to push back
- Providing support to Finance Managers with requirements of month end ledger control and balance sheet reconciliation
Management Accountant – Requirements
- Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- Excellent communicator with evidence of developing strong relationships with business stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in a management accounting role
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical experience
- Experience working for large/complex organisations
- Adaptable and innovative
Management Accountant – The Package
- Salary up to £60,000
