Management Accountant

Job Description

Venture Recruitment is partnered with a local financial services business in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. 

This role will initially be heavily cashier-based before progressing into a more complex management accountant role. 


Overview of the role:  

  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations, process bank transactions, and deliver ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Own and become the senior expert in cashier duties for the first 12 months.
  • Ensure meticulous accuracy in all tasks, as errors impact financial reporting and organisational decisions.
  • Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines for internal and parent company (KEU/TMC) reporting.
  • Liaise with departmental heads and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Key skills & experience: 

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices 
  • AAT studier or BSc in a relevant qualification
  • Proficiency in analysing financial data
