Last week Venture’s Karen Rich and Nadia Payne hosted their second Women in Business Breakfast at the stunning Skylark Golf & Country Club in Whiteley.
We received glowing feedback from our first Women in Business event in December of last year, where our guest speaker Rachel Brealey gave a walk-through of her career from her very first role in accounting, through to her role as Vice president of Strategy and Analysis at Secret Cinema.
Our guests (women from local finance, accounting, and HR teams) left feeling motivated, inspired, and as though they had spent the morning with like-minded women who were experiencing the same challenges and dynamics in the workplace.
It was the same buzz that was created at our most recent Women in Business Breakfast on the 15th of May 2024. This time, International Coach Andrea Nash shared her insights on Coaching Strategies for Your Career. Key themes to note from her advice included the importance of being your authentic self in the workplace and how to instil and demonstrate confidence.
