'​Yesterday Karen Rich and Nadia Payne journeyed to Skylark Country Club to host our third Women in Business Breakfast with guest speaker Monica Collings. The Women in Business Breakfast aims to bring together women from across Southampton and Portsmouth working in HR, finance, and accounting for an open and inspirational morning of discussion.

Guest speaker Monica is an award-winning former Energy Retail Chief Executive with previous experience working in the property, automotive, and retail home improvement sectors. Her focus for the morning's session was how women in business can utilise their personal purpose and aspirations to create inclusive cultures in the workplace.

Diversity and inclusion helps promote high-performance teams by celebrating differences, engaging a range of approaches to problem-solving, and investing in employee wellbeing.

Monica also discussed her own career journey as a female working in a male-dominated industry.
