Finance manager

Job Description

Venture Recruitment Partners is working on an exclusive basis with a Littlehampton-based manufacturing business in their search for a Finance Manager on an interim basis.

 This role offers an element of hybrid working, with approx. 1 day from home. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Leading the month-end process
  • Performing the month-end procedures in the accounting software including all Journals, Cash book reconciliations and Daybook Close out.
  • Responsibility for the maintenance and processing of accruals and prepayments 
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Presenting results at routine meetings with budget holders
  • Assisting with the annual budgetary and forecast process
  • Providing information to budget holders upon request
  • Reviewing weekly/monthly bank reconciliations 

Key Skills :

  • Good Understanding of Operational and Financial issues in a Manufacturing business
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • Experience with ERP system functions and financial systems


This role offers the possibility to go permanent. 

It is paying £55,000 - £65,000 or equivalent day rate.
