Senior Management Accountant – The Role
- Supporting the wider team to ensure the team delivers robust analysis and commentary explaining monthly performance variances against Budgets and Forecasts, highlighting Risks and Opportunities, and supporting the business with reforecasting
- Identifying, implementing and sharing proactive ways to improve business partnering
- Continually improving forecasting by providing high quality insight and pattern analysis to budget holders, recommending areas that need focus and ways to improve
- Taking the lead in managing month and quarter end procedures to support timely and accurate delivery of monthly management reporting, including variance analysis, follow up and detailed commentary
- Take ownership for budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with stakeholders to make strong commercial decisions
- Delivering robust analysis of actuals
- Presenting financial reports to senior management teams and key stakeholders
Senior Management Accountant – Requirements
- Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- Demonstrable experience in a management accounting role
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical experience
- Experience working for large/complex organisations
- Confident communicator with strong influencing skills
- Adaptable and innovative
Senior Management Accountant – The Package
- Salary up to £65,000
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
